Our programs are built to create lasting, reliable behavior- not just a quick fix during board & train that leaves you guessing afterward. Every package begins with a 3-week board & train, followed by additional services designed to help you maintain and build on your dog’s progress.
We recommend starting private sessions immediately following the 3 week board & train, ideally meeting once a week to ensure a smooth transition. Daytraining should begin within two months to keep skills sharp, and if your trainer notices that your dog’s progress has slipped, a refresher program may be recommended.
We believe in this approach because lasting results take consistent practice- just like going to the gym to build muscle, those skills can deteriorate quickly without regular work. Our training isn’t just about teaching your dog a handful of behaviors; it’s about teaching your dog how to learn, building their confidence, creating value in working with you, and giving you the tools to keep progressing together. During and after your dog’s stay, you’ll receive detailed notes, videos of training sessions, and clear explanations of what your dog knows and how to continue practicing at home. Even after your program ends, we highly recommend continuing with private sessions and daytraining. This ongoing support keeps your dog’s skills sharp and ensures you always have guidance to help your dog succeed.

What makes our board & train programs different?
A Board & Train is an immersive reset for your dog. For three full weeks, your dog lives and trains with us in a structured, supportive environment designed for learning. This allows us to create new habits, break old ones, and set your dog up with a solid foundation before transitioning those skills back to you.

Our program covers:
-
Foundations: How to learn, pressure and release, engagement, and settling.
-
Basic obedience: Loose-leash walking, recall, sit, down, stay, and more.
-
Management protocols: Place training, kennel calmness, household structure.
-
Confidence building: Exposure to new experiences, sounds, people, and environments.
-
Neutral socialization: Calm, non-reactive behavior around other dogs and people.
What happens during a Board & Train program?
Every dog’s Board & Train program is customized to fit their temperament, goals, and progress. While all dogs work on the same core areas, the amount of time spent on each area and the intensity of training varies depending on the dog’s needs. This ensures every dog is set up for success, whether that means focusing more on impulse control, settling, confidence, or socialization.
On a daily basis, your dog’s schedule includes multiple short, focused training sessions, real-life practice of skills indoors and outdoors, structured play or supervised interaction with other dogs when appropriate, enrichment activities for mental stimulation, outdoor walks, one-on-one attention from trainers, and rest periods to support learning and self-regulation. Every day balances learning, exercise, and downtime to keep dogs engaged and set them up for long-term success at home.
