Small classes, big progress
Group classes at Plum Creek Canines provide a safe, structured environment for practicing and building skills alongside other dogs and owners. Classes are intentionally kept small to ensure each team gets the guidance and support they need, with plenty of attention from the trainer. Sessions are held in a variety of locations to give dogs real-life practice in different settings. Some classes may require a prerequisite private session to make sure you and your dog are ready for success in a group environment.
Group classes at Plum Creek Canines grow directly out of community interest. If there’s a type of class you’d like to see, the first step is to reach out and let us know. The more excitement and interest shown for a class, the more likely it is to be offered. So if you’re hoping for something specific, don’t hesitate to share your ideas and encourage others to do the same.
COMING SOON: CORE SKILLS CLASS
Our Core Skills Class is designed for all dog owners looking for a safe, structured environment to socialize, practice existing skills, and build new ones. This one-hour class will take place in a variety of locations and offer a diverse range of learning experiences and topics to strengthen your dog’s foundation. Current training clients will have immediate access to join when the class launches. If you’re new to Plum Creek Canines, please schedule a private training session first to ensure you and your dog are confident managing skills, understand expectations, and have foundational knowledge before entering a group setting.

OFFERED BY DEMAND: PUPPY CLASS
Our Puppy Class is designed to build confidence in your puppy, teach them how to learn, and guide you in how to train effectively, setting everyone up for long-term success. This 8-week, fixed-enrollment course is paid in full at enrollment and provides a consistent, structured learning experience for both puppies and their owners. During the 8-week term, you will gain access to 2 classes per week, giving your puppy multiple opportunities to practice new skills, socialize safely with other puppies, and learn to navigate a variety of safe environments under guidance, encouraging all-around training and socialization. While attendance at every class is not required, it is highly recommended to fully benefit from the program and reinforce the skills learned between sessions.

Classes will run when there is a minimum demand of 2 puppies, and new sessions begin as soon as enough puppies are ready. This approach ensures small class sizes, allowing for individualized attention and hands-on coaching for every owner and puppy. The course is open to puppies 8 weeks to 1 year old, and all participants must be up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. By the end of the program, puppies will gain foundational skills, confidence, and socialization experiences, while owners will leave equipped with the knowledge and tools to continue supporting their puppy’s development long after the class ends.

OFFERED BY DEMAND: CANINE GOOD CITIZEN
Our Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Class is designed to help dogs and their owners develop reliable obedience, manners, and life skills that build confidence, communication, and a stronger bond. This course provides a structured, supportive environment for practicing skills, learning new behaviors, and preparing for the official CGC test. Classes focus on real-world scenarios and encourage dogs to demonstrate calm, confident, and reliable behavior in a variety of safe environments.

Classes will run when there is a minimum demand of 2 participants, ensuring small group sizes for individualized attention and hands-on coaching. The course is open to dogs of all ages who are up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. By the end of the program, dogs will be well-prepared to pass the CGC test, and owners will leave with the knowledge and tools to continue reinforcing these skills at home.

At the conclusion of the class, participants will have the opportunity to complete the CGC evaluation, with testing provided directly by the instructor.
