Structured Daycare, the Difference
Every dog’s day at Plum Creek Canines is personalized to meet their unique needs and ensure they thrive. Dogs receive a carefully planned schedule of enrichment, one-on-one interaction, walks, optional small playgroups, and quiet rest time in kennels. Our structured program addresses both physical and mental needs, promoting healthy behaviors and a balanced routine. Unlike traditional daycare, which can lead to overstimulation or behavioral issues, our activities keep dogs calm, engaged, and happy.
Variety in their day . . .
Your dog’s day at daycare is designed with purpose: balancing activity, enrichment, and rest. They’ll enjoy playtime, training opportunities, and walks to keep their body and mind engaged, but we also build in structured downtime in a kennel or quiet space. These breaks are just as important as the active parts of the day. They prevent overstimulation, give dogs a chance to recharge, and help reinforce the life skill of being able to settle calmly when asked. Puppies learn early on how to manage their energy and build good habits, while adult dogs benefit from having a predictable rhythm that supports both their physical and emotional health. By practicing this healthy balance every day, dogs leave not only happily tired, but also calmer, more well-adjusted, and better prepared to relax at home with their families.

I do my best to stay flexible with drop-off and pick-up times so your schedule can be accommodated, but that flexibility goes both ways. Please plan to come at the time we schedule together and give as close to an exact time as possible. I coordinate private training sessions, board & train schedules, exercise, and rest periods around arrivals and departures. Showing up significantly early or late not only disrupts the flow of care for your dog, but also affects the other dogs in my program. Clear communication and sticking to the agreed-upon time helps ensure every dog receives the attention they deserve.
